Smaller-thread needle tips cannot be connected to larger-thread cables.<\/p>\n<h3>ChiaoGoo thread sizes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>M (MINI)<\/strong> \u2013 fits 1.5\u20132.5 mm needle tips (10 and 13 cm) and 1.5\u20133.25 mm tips (8 cm);<\/li>\n<li><strong>S (Small)<\/strong> \u2013 fits 2.75\u20135.0 mm needle tips (10 and 13 cm) and 3.5\u20135.0 mm tips (8 cm);<\/li>\n<li><strong>L (Large)<\/strong> \u2013 fits 5.5\u201310.0 mm needle tips (10 and 13 cm).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TWIST and SPIN threads of the same size are compatible with each other. MINI products are not directly compatible with S or L threads, so the appropriate adapter is required.<\/p>\n<p>The 10 and 13 cm MINI needle tips are too long for use with 5, 13 or 15 cm MINI cables.
