DROPS Alpaca Bouclé is a distinctive effect yarn with a rich texture and exceptional softness. Its name comes from the French word “bouclé”, meaning loop – numerous small loops of pure alpaca give this yarn its characteristic curly appearance and airy loft.

Why choose DROPS Alpaca Bouclé?

- Natural quality: the yarn is made from 80% superfine alpaca supported by a wool and polyamide core. The fibre is not chemically treated before dyeing, apart from washing, which helps preserve its natural character and shape.

- Exceptional lightness: although the fabric looks dense and fluffy, it remains surprisingly light. This makes it an excellent choice for oversized jumpers that do not feel heavy.

- Generous yardage: with 140 metres in a 50 g ball, the yarn goes a long way, so a project may require fewer balls than when using traditional wool.
