Laines Du Nord DOLLY BABY (100% merino wool)
Merino wool has excellent thermoregulatory properties - it warms you when it's cooler and lets your skin breathe when it's warmer. This makes DOLLY BABY suitable for both year-round wear and layering. The yarn is pleasant to the touch, does not irritate the skin and is ideal for knits that come into direct contact with the body.
The thin thickness of the yarn allows for very subtle patterns, making DOLLY BABY a favourite for lace, openwork patterns and minimalist designs. It is also ideal for use with other yarns (e.g. mohair and silk) to add volume, softness or texture to the knitted fabric.
IMPORTANT! Mulesing-free technology is an environmentally friendly way of collecting wool, where the fleece layer is removed without damaging the skin or harming the animal.
