Gütermann Fabric Glue and Iron-on Tape

The Gütermann accessories category contains two products for working with fabric: HT2 fabric glue and HT3 iron-on tape. Choose according to whether you need to bond separate pieces or quickly secure a fabric hem, and check the care temperature of the fabric before use.

Which Gütermann products are available?

• HT2 fabric glue. The glue comes in a 30 g tube, dries transparent and remains flexible. The stated drying time is about 30 minutes; fresh glue can be cleaned with water, and the cured item can be washed at up to 95°C if the fabric itself permits it.
• HT3 iron-on tape. The 3 cm wide, 10 m long tape is designed to secure a fabric or garment hem with an iron. The stated pressing time is approximately 8 seconds, and the bonded item can be washed at up to 60°C if this is compatible with the fabric care instructions.

How do you choose and use them?

Choose the glue for separate fabric pieces or decorations and the tape for a straight edge or hem. Test the product on an inconspicuous area first, select an iron temperature suitable for the material, and follow the instructions for the specific product.
