Chunky wool and alpaca yarn for quick-knit projects
GRINTA is a warm, chunky yarn for quick-growing, expressive knits. Alpaca adds softness and warmth, wool provides structure and elasticity, while acrylic improves durability and makes care easier.
The large 150 g / 220 m ball lets you knit bigger projects with fewer balls. With the recommended 7–8 mm needles, the fabric grows quickly and clearly shows the yarn’s chunky texture.
What is GRINTA suitable for?
- warm sweaters, cardigans and jackets;
- thick shawls, scarves and cowls;
- hats and winter accessories;
- cables and other textured stitch patterns;
- projects that call for volume and cosiness.
The yarn is easy to handle, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced knitters.
Care instructions
- Hand-wash in cool or lukewarm water at up to 30 °C.
- Use a gentle detergent suitable for wool.
- Do not rub or wring; gently press out excess water with a towel.
- Dry flat on a towel or blocking mat.
- Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators and hot tumble dryers.
