Short interchangeable needles for small-circumference knitting

ChiaoGoo TWIST Shorties SMALL is a stainless steel interchangeable short-needle system for small-circumference knitting. The 5 and 8 cm tips can be combined with short X-FLEX cables, making the set suitable for socks, gloves, hats, sleeves, necklines and baby garments. Tips of different lengths can be connected to the same cable when this makes the project more comfortable to hold.

Needles and cables

The smooth stainless steel surface lets stitches glide easily, while the sharp Lace tips suit lace, cable and other detailed stitch patterns. X-FLEX cables have a steel core and a flexible outer coating.

Contents of the SMALL set

• 10 pairs of S-join tips: five 5 cm and five 8 cm pairs.
• Sizes: 3.5, 3.75, 4, 4.5 and 5 mm.
• 3 blue X-FLEX cables with an S join: 13, 15 and 20 cm.
• 2 end stoppers, 2 tightening keys and 2 cable connectors.
• 6 stitch markers and a needle gauge.
• Blue 12 × 9.5 cm case with labelled compartments.

Compatibility

The tips and cables in this set use the S join. ChiaoGoo TWIST and SPIN parts with the same join size are interchangeable. MINI, S and L joins are not directly compatible, so check the marking before buying additional cables, tips or adapters. MINI parts use the MINI join, while larger tips may require an L join or the appropriate adapter.
