ChiaoGoo Large [L] Screw-on lines (20-125 cm)
The ChiaoGoo Large [L] Screw-on Welshers are designed for larger knitting projects that require thicker cables. These have the widest [L] size connector, which is designed for cord tips from 5.50 mm to 10.00 mm. Although the connector itself is more massive to withstand the weight of a larger knit, it maintains the same precision - the transition from the pile to the bobbin remains perfectly smooth, so that thick wool or cotton yarns glide through without any snagging.
Like the other products in this line, Large lines are made of multi-layered steel cable covered with red nylon. This is particularly important when working with large items, as the line has no memory: it does not tangle in loops and does not twist, even when a heavy, almost finished sweater or plaid is hanging on it. The steel core ensures maximum strength, so you can rest assured that the connection will not break if the weight is too heavy.
You can choose from various lengths from 20 cm to 125 cm. Longer Large stitches are indispensable for large-format work such as chunky cardigans, coats or furnishings where you need a lot of room for the stitches.
Good to know: If you have a lot of [S] size rolls but want to use Large (5.5 mm+) rolls, you can use the [L] to [S] adaptor. However, using the original [L] shafts with [L] shafts results in the strongest and most seamless construction.
