ChiaoGoo TWIST Lace Shorties kits are the ideal choice for knitting small diameter circles: socks, gloves, hats or baby clothes and sleeves. These 5 cm and 8 cm long stainless steel cords allow you to form 23-36 cm long cords with a roll. The unique system allows you to use even different lengths of bobbins at the same time, which is particularly convenient when knitting small items.

The pointed „Lace“ type is ideal for intricate patterns such as lace, braids or bubble patterns. The highly flexible, memory-free steel roller does not twist or bend, ensuring a pleasant and smooth knitting experience.

Composition of the set SMALL (3.5-5.0 mm):

• 10 pairs of TWIST Lace Shorties with S-thread (5 pairs 5 cm long and 5 pairs 8 cm long).
• Cord sizes: 3.50, 3.75, 4.0, 4.50 and 5.0 mm. All of them are placed in a case with labelled compartments.
• 3 blue TWIST X-FLEX lines (size S) in 13, 15 and 20 cm.
• 2 stoppers (to be placed on the end of the line to prevent the eyes from slipping).
• 2 tightening keys (for secure connections).
• 2 connectors (for combining two wales into one longer one).
• 6 knitting markers.
• 1 string gauge (stencil for sizing).
• 1 blue case measuring 12 x 9,5 cm.

General information for all ChiaoGoo interchangeable cords

TWIST and SPIN have the same thread size and are therefore compatible with each other. All bobbins and rollers are laser marked with the corresponding thread size:

M = MINI - suitable for cord sizes 1.50-2.50 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 1.50-3.25 mm (8 cm)

S = Small - suitable for cord sizes 2.75-5.0 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 3.50-5.00 mm (8 cm)

L = Large - suitable for cord sizes 5.50-10.0 mm (10 and 13 cm)

The MINI series is not compatible with S and L thread sizes, so all MINI shafts must be used with MINI shafts only.

Please note that the 10 cm and 13 cm MINI shafts are too long to be used with 5 cm, 13 cm or 15 cm MINI shafts. They can be extended using the MINI roller connector.

ChiaoGoo also offers adapters to connect MINI, S and L thread sizes to each other.

Exception:
ChiaoGoo MINI SHORTIES (1.50-3.25 mm) are only compatible with MINI thread products.
