PRYM elastic thread is designed to reinforce knitted, crocheted and other handmade items. It helps the finished piece retain its shape and adds extra elasticity.
Uses
- reinforcing knitted waistbands and cuffs;
- restoring or increasing the elasticity of knitted and crocheted items;
- areas of a garment that tend to lose their shape;
- various sewing and craft projects.
How to use it?
When knitting, hold the elastic thread together with the main yarn in areas that need extra stretch. In an already knitted edge, carefully weave it through the stitches and distribute it evenly so the edge fits better and retains its shape.
The transparent white version is less noticeable in light-coloured projects, while the transparent black version suits dark projects. The spool contains 200 m of elastic thread, enough for several small repairs or craft projects.
