Tropical Lane FOR BAGS LUX is a flat Italian tape cord for crocheting handbags, clutches and home accessories. Its flat construction helps stitches lie evenly and gives the pattern a distinctive texture.
Cotton with subtle shimmer
The cord contains 80% soft cotton and 20% metallised polyester. Cotton provides a natural feel, while the metallised fibre adds structural stability and a subtle lurex shimmer. Accessories made from this cord work equally well with summer outfits and evening looks.
Shape-retaining flat tape
Worked with the recommended 5 mm crochet hook, the flat tape forms a dense, firm fabric. It has little stretch and helps handbags, baskets and clutches keep their shape, so many projects may not need an additional frame or stiffening material.
