Tropical Lane EXTREME – extra-thick faux fur yarn
Tropical Lane EXTREME is designed for soft, voluminous knitting and crochet projects. Its long pile conceals the stitch structure and creates a continuous faux-fur effect, making the yarn ideal for pieces where a bold texture matters.
What can you make?
The manufacturer recommends this yarn for making bags. It is also suitable for chunky blankets, decorative cushions, scarves, cowls, garment trims and interior accents. A 300 g skein contains approximately 30 metres, so calculate the total amount needed before starting a larger project.
How to work with faux fur yarn
Use 15 mm knitting needles or a crochet hook. Because the pile makes stitches harder to see, simple patterns and even tension work best. Make a swatch before starting a larger project to assess gauge, drape and the actual amount of yarn required.
