A blend of jute, acrylic and cotton
Working with pure jute or utility rope can be difficult because the material is firm and coarse. Tropical Lane blends acrylic and cotton with natural jute fibre. This softens the yarn, makes it easier to crochet and gentler on the hands while preserving the authentic appearance of jute.
Strength and shape retention
Because natural jute is the main fibre, the crocheted fabric is firm, durable and has little stretch. A bag made from this yarn therefore keeps its shape even when carrying heavier shopping or beach essentials.
