DROPS Polaris – one strand, exceptional warmth
DROPS Polaris is made for knitters who value natural wool and fast results. This single-ply yarn is made from the same quality wool as DROPS Snow, but is twice as thick.
What makes DROPS Polaris special?
- Super bulky weight: one of the thickest yarns in the DROPS range. With 12 mm needles, a hat or scarf can be completed in just a few hours.
- 100% natural wool: the fibre is only washed and is not chemically treated before dyeing. This preserves its natural texture, breathability and characteristic structure.
- Excellent for felting: ideal for felted slippers, sauna hats and sturdy bags. After felting, the fabric becomes dense, wind resistant and durable.
What can you make with DROPS Polaris?
Its thickness and weight make this yarn especially suitable for:
