Caring for DROPS Snow garments

DROPS Snow is 100% natural wool without a Superwash treatment, so it needs careful handling. With suitable care, finished pieces can remain soft and warm for years.

• Hand washing: wash garments by hand at no more than 30 °C. Avoid sudden temperature changes; the rinse water should be the same temperature as the wash water.
• Suitable detergents: use a wool detergent without bleach or enzymes. Do not use fabric softener. Suitable options include Eucalan detergents or Knools detergent.
• Handle gently: do not rub or wring the garment. Let the water drain naturally or press it gently in a dry towel.
• Drying: do not tumble dry. Reshape the garment and dry it flat on a clean, dry towel, away from radiators and direct sunlight.
• Felting: when you intentionally want to felt a project such as slippers, machine wash it at 40 °C on a regular cycle.
• Important: natural wool often benefits from airing between wears, which can reduce the need for washing.
