Red nylon-coated cords for larger interchangeable needles
ChiaoGoo LARGE [L] interchangeable cords are designed for larger 5.5–10 mm interchangeable needles and bigger knitting projects. The L-size connection joins securely to matching needle tips, while the smooth transition allows stitches to move easily between the needle and cord.
The cord core consists of several steel strands coated in red nylon. This flexible construction has very little memory, so the cord twists less and comfortably holds a larger number of stitches.
Available lengths and uses
Choose from lengths between 20 and 125 cm. Shorter cords suit smaller-circumference projects, while longer cords are suitable for sweaters, cardigans, coats, blankets and other large projects.
Compatibility
- for ChiaoGoo LARGE [L] thread needles in 5.5–10 mm sizes;
- match the cord and needles using the laser-marked L thread designation;
- with a ChiaoGoo [L] to [S] adapter, LARGE needle tips can be connected to SMALL cords.
The strongest and straightest connection is achieved by using needles and a cord with the same L thread size.
