Flexible interchangeable cords with 360° rotating joins
ChiaoGoo SWIV360 cords are designed for ChiaoGoo interchangeable needles. The rotating joins allow the needle tips to turn freely, helping the cord twist less and move comfortably with your hands while knitting.
The steel core is coated in silver-coloured nylon. The cord is flexible, durable and joins smoothly to needles with the matching thread size. Lengths from 20 to 125 cm make it possible to choose a cord for the circumference of the project.
Thread sizes
- S (Small) — for 2.75–5 mm needles in 10 and 13 cm lengths and 3.5–5 mm needles in an 8 cm length;
- L (Large) — for 5.5–10 mm needles in 10 and 13 cm lengths.
ChiaoGoo compatibility
TWIST and SPIN products use the same M, S and L thread sizes. Needles and cords are laser marked, so check their thread markings before connecting them.
MINI products are not directly compatible with S or L threads. A suitable ChiaoGoo adapter is required to connect products with different thread sizes.
Important when choosing a short cord
The 10 and 13 cm MINI needle tips are too long for use with 5, 13 or 15 cm MINI cords. If necessary, the cord can be extended with a MINI connector. ChiaoGoo MINI SHORTIES 1.5–3.25 mm needles are used only with MINI-thread products.
