Gazzal EXCLUSIVE
Gazzal EXCLUSIVE is an exceptionally fine yarn from a Turkish manufacturer for lightweight knits with an elegant drape. The blend of merino wool, Mulberry silk and Super Kid mohair provides warmth, a subtle sheen and a delicate halo.
Fibre blend
- Mulberry silk (30%): adds strength, smoothness, elegant drape and a natural sheen.
- Super Kid mohair (10%): an exceptionally fine mohair fibre that creates a subtle, airy halo.
- Merino wool (60%): Superwash-treated merino wool adds elasticity and warmth and helps the garment retain its shape.
Practical uses and yardage
Each 25 g ball contains 200 m of yarn, making it suitable for lightweight projects:
- used as a single strand, it creates a light, openwork effect suitable for wraps, evening shawls and fine tops;
- held double, it produces a denser, fluffier fabric suitable for jumpers;
- held together with a base wool or cotton yarn, it adds a soft halo and silky sheen.
- Recommended needles: 2.25–3.5 mm, depending on the desired fabric density.
- Care: gentle hand washing in cool water is recommended; dry flat.
Important
Mohair feels different to each person, so those with sensitive skin should knit and wash a swatch before starting a larger project.
