Extra fine merino wool yarn
Laines Du Nord DOLLY BABY is an ultra-fine, soft merino wool yarn for lightweight, elegant and finely detailed projects. The even yarn helps create neat stitch definition and delicate patterns.
Merino wool has excellent temperature-regulating properties: it keeps you warm in cool weather and allows the skin to breathe when it is warmer. This makes DOLLY BABY suitable for garments worn and layered throughout the year. The yarn feels pleasant and is suitable for pieces worn directly against the body. For sensitive skin, it is worth testing how the fibre feels before starting a larger project.
The fine yarn is particularly suitable for lace, openwork patterns and minimalist projects. It can also be held together with another yarn, such as a mohair and silk blend, to add volume, softness or texture.
Important: the “mulesing-free” label means that the wool comes from sheep that have not undergone the mulesing procedure.
