DROPS Sky – light alpaca and merino wool yarn
DROPS Sky is a light chain-structured yarn made from 74% baby alpaca, 18% polyamide and 8% merino wool. Its tubular construction adds volume while keeping the fabric light and gives clear definition to stocking stitch, cables and textured patterns.
Technical information
- 50 g / approximately 190 m; yarn group B (20–22 stitches), 8 ply / DK.
- Recommended needle size: 4 mm; tension: 21 stitches × 28 rows per 10 × 10 cm.
- Suitable for jumpers, cardigans, ponchos, scarves, hats and blankets.
Care
Hand wash only at up to 30 °C and dry flat. The yarn can felt, so do not wring or rub it, and do not use fabric softener.
Origin and certification
The yarn is produced in Peru and the EU. The alpaca and merino wool come from South America, and the polyamide from Italy. DROPS Sky is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Class I (No. 25.3.0040).
